Mr. Prashant Seeta Ramchandra Sawant

Mr. Prashant Seeta Ramchandra Sawant is an Indian Bee Researcher, Pollination Specialist, Master Trainer, Rural Entrepreneurship Development Professional, Sustainability Advocate, and Social Innovator with over 29 years of dedicated experience in beekeeping, honey production, pollination management, applied research, environmental conservation, and livelihood development.

For nearly three decades, he has devoted his professional life to promoting honey bees as a foundation for food security, biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, and green economic development. His work integrates scientific research, practical field experience, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment into a single development model.

As a Master Trainer with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Government of India, and a Domain Skill Trainer (DST) for Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs) under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, he has trained and mentored thousands of farmers, women, youth, entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and rural communities across Maharashtra and several Indian states.

In 2017, he authored a 42-part research-based educational series on beekeeping published in Agrowon, one of India’s leading agricultural newspapers. The series has served as an important knowledge resource for farmers, beekeepers, agricultural professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

His expertise extends beyond beekeeping into Agro & Forest-Based Food Processing, Entrepreneurship Development (EDP), Digital Project Report Preparation (DPR), Business Planning, Financial Planning, Digital Marketing, Company Formation, Business Legal Compliance, Market Research, Value Chain Development, and Enterprise Management.

Mr. Sawant’s training philosophy emphasizes learning by doing. His programmes combine classroom knowledge, field demonstrations, practical implementation, mentoring, and post-training enterprise support, enabling participants to establish sustainable and profitable businesses.

He is currently leading the development of the World’s First Bee Entrepreneurship School, an innovative institution envisioned to transform beekeeping education through competency-based learning, applied research, incubation, enterprise development, and environmental leadership. The initiative seeks to create socially responsible entrepreneurs capable of generating employment while contributing to pollination services, biodiversity conservation, and climate-resilient agriculture.

Mr. Sawant is also the visionary behind Mission Madhukranti Maharashtra 2047, a long-term strategic initiative aimed at positioning beekeeping and pollination as key drivers of agricultural productivity, food security, rural prosperity, ecological restoration, and sustainable economic growth in India.

Ms. Suvidha Rajesh Raut – Khaire

Ms. Suvidha Rajesh Raut – Khaire is a dynamic business professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Relationship Management, Human Resource Management, Office Administration, and Enterprise Operations. With nearly two decades of corporate experience, she has developed strong expertise in building client relationships, driving business growth, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing operational excellence.

As the Founder and Director – Business Development & Operations, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic growth and day-to-day operations of the organization. She is responsible for developing business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, streamlining operational systems, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting the organization’s long-term vision of sustainable rural entrepreneurship.

Currently, she is actively involved in the Honey Bee Enterprise, where she oversees commercial beekeeping operations, honey harvesting, honey processing, quality packaging, and the marketing of value-added bee products, including Honey, Bee Pollen, Beeswax, Propolis, Royal Jelly, and other natural bee-derived products. Her work contributes to promoting sustainable livelihoods while strengthening the rural value chain.

Prior to entering the beekeeping and rural enterprise sector, Ms. Khaire built a successful corporate career with leading organizations. During her tenure at Network Techlab India Pvt. Ltd., she served as an Account Management Resource and Executive Sales Coordinator, contributing significantly to business development, sales coordination, customer relationship management, technical presentations, proposal management, and post-sales customer support.

She also worked with Religare Enterprises as an HR Executive, where she managed recruitment, talent acquisition, interview coordination, employee onboarding, MIS reporting, and human resource operations. Her professional experience further includes office administration, facility management, front office operations, customer service, and organizational coordination, enabling her to effectively manage multidisciplinary responsibilities.
